The library is buzzing (yes, there are a few bees...Hunter isn't here and I'll have to call my husband!).
We've been busy doing some one-on-one computer skills training (embedding photos in emails or eBay items, completing an online job app and resume, using Excel software) and traveling to daycare facilities for monthly story times. TAB members learned about the electronic database for Gale Reference Library and were amazed at how many books were available for research in that one database. I'm hoping that they will pass the word!
Students in grades 3-5 can participate in the library's Halloween Scavenger Hunt after school on Oct. 28, 29 or 30th and win Halloween treats also.
The rest of us are busy baking in anticipation of Gregory Appreciation Day at the Library on Oct. 21st from 5-8 pm. On that night, the city council will also hold their regular meeting at the library instead of at the city hall. Treats for everybody. (You know the motto: We can't meet unless we eat!)
