Check out the Spring Collection

New book titles that have been springing up at the library recently include many by favorite authors.  Added titles for adults include:  Calculated in Death by J.D.Robb, Casual Vacancy (which is J.K. Rowling's major writing departure from the world of Harry Potter), a few marine thriller/adventure books by Patrick Robinson, American Sniper, a true account by Chris Kyle, Touch and Go by Lisa Gardner, the latest in the Molly Murphy series by Rhys Bowen--Family Way, two new titles by romance author Linda Lael Miller, some large print westerns as well as about 20 other new adult books.

Some new YA titles include:  Archived by Victoria Schwab, Seeds of Rebellion (#2 in the Beyonders series) by Brandon Mull, The Gate Thief by Orson Scott Card, Girl Stolen by April Henry and Cinder and Scarlet, the first two books in the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer (www.marissameyer.com).  I just finished Cinder and I really enjoyed this futuristic Cinderella tale.  Can you picture Cinderella as a cyborg?  This talented author makes it work!

For the juvenile collection we have purchased the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull and are awaiting our gift books from the Libri Foundation (www.librifoundation.org).  A generous donation from the Juracek family gave us many nice picture books and board books for our young readers.
