Kristina is a pretty, perfect type teenager, the one that you would see being surrounded by a million people. But, her sister Tess is the exact opposite. Tess doesn't do sports, and she isn't popular. The two sisters realize that when you don't want love or compassion, that's when you need it the most.
Kristina is diagnosed with cancer and the whole family is falling apart. Mom is constantly crying and Dad seems to be backing away from his family when they need him most. Soon, everyone at school starts to wonder where is Kristina? And next thing you know Tess is in the popular crowd being surrounded and soon being befriended by people only her sister associated with.
Will Tess be able to survive being pressured to be perfect like Kristina was? Will the family be able to survive this tragedy? Will anyone be able to make Kristina feel normal again? And most importantly....will anyone live through this?~Ashley
